Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park; Chattanooga, Tennesse

Lake Winnie boasts that it is the South’s most entertaining family amusement park. With over seventy-five years behind it, the park has developed a carefree, award-winning atmosphere making it a great place for both young and old. Celebrate your birthday, ride the rides, plan a company picnic, play the games, or come to a concert. A day of fun awaits everyone both young and old only six miles from Chattanooga.

Check Out the rides that have been designed for the young and the young-at-heart. Everyone always loves a good roller coaster and the Cannon Ball fits the bill. Want something a little more serene? View the park from the top of the Ferris wheel as it circles high in the air. Listen to some of your fun choices—there is the Boat Chute, Antique Cars, Kiddie Boats, Motorcycles, Paddleboats, Scrambler, Tilt-A-Whirl, Wacky Worm, Balloon Ride, Bumper Cars. Do you get the idea? There are over thirty rides to choose from and enjoy.

Kiddie Land is a special place at Lake Winnepesaukah designed for the little ones that will keep them entertained for hours. Rides like the Kiddie Swing, the Parachute, Lady Bugs, Airplanes, and more are child size and made just for the little people. Some of the rides like the Jumbo Elephant even let mom or dad ride along. After all, the grown ups have to have some fun too. With ten rides available, there is fun for all.

Are you more into games? There must be twenty different games from which you might choose. These are games created with all ages in mind from Speed Ball to the Duck Pond to the Water Gun to the Miniature Golf Course. Also, plan to visit Jukebox Junction for a live concert during your visit. Shows begin at three and eight p.m. and are free with a paid gate admission.

Lake Winnie offers birthday packages to help you celebrate your day. Choose from one of two packages on any day but Saturday. You need to book your party in advance. Packages include services like unlimited rides, a balloon decorated Party Pavilion, game tokens, Picnic Paks, Goodie bags, T-shirts—all depending on which package you choose.

Consider a group picnic for your church, school, or company picnic. There is a professional catering staff to provide for your group’s needs.
