Establishes Board Of Directors, working with nationally esteemed law firm Miller Canfield, TravelSITE Inc. announced the appointment of the following individuals to the TravelSITE Board Of Directors:
Background: B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and 15 years experience in the Information Technology industry. Prior to founding Media Genesis, Brad spent 11 years at Electronic Data Systems supporting General Motors Corporation. Primary responsibilities included CAD/CAM programming and training of 2D and 3D engineering graphics systems, and technical deployment and support of Client/Server solutions. As Infrastructure Program Manager for the EDS Internet & New Media Division, Brad was responsible for the development and technical support for all of General Motors corporate and divisional web sites. Brad was also the lead developer of an Internet-based workflow application prototype that allowed Saturn car owners to schedule service appointments with dealers over the Internet. Hobbies: Mountain biking, tennis, roller blading with his sons Board Positions: Board of Directors for Troy Chamber, Auburn Hills Chamber, TravelSITE, Inc., Treatment, Inc. and Advisor to Homeowner.com, Inc. Kristine Buyers - Vice President Marketing, Universal Map Inc. Background: B.A. degree in Communications with an emphasis Public Relations; nationally accredited Public Relations Professional (APR). Buyers manages all of Universal Map's internal and external communications, including internet, employee communication and advertising and public relations strategies. Hobbies: Music, gardening, photography Board Positions: TravelSITE, Inc. Board Of Directors, Universal Map Operating Committee, past Public Relations Society Of America Central Michigan Chapter Treasurer Chris Knoebel - Senior Vice President of Sales, Universal Map Inc. Background: B.A. degree in Economics. Knoebel manages the growth and direction of the distribution of Universal Map's traditional products through distributor and retail channels via an extensive sales force of internal employees and external strategic alliances within the industry. He is personally responsible for sales growth in the international arena. In addition he is on the Board of Directors as Secretary/Treasurer of the International Map Trade Association's Americas division. The IMTA is the representative industry association for all groups to profit from the gathering and distribution of spatial data. Hobbies: Travel and open wheel (Formula One and CART) racing enthusiast Board Positions: TravelSITE, International Map Trade Association, Americas Division, Casa Spiranza Children's Home in Castanza, Romania, and a member of Universal Map's Operating Committee. Antoine Dubeauclard - Vice President Sales & Marketing; Media Genesis Background: University of Michigan graduate currently serving on the University of Michigan Residential College Advisory Committee where he provides guidance on how technology affects educators. As VP of Sales & Marketing at Media Genesis Antoine is responsible for all sales and marketing staff and has provided account management for DaimlerChrysler, Ford Motor Company, General Motors and many others. Prior to joining Media Genesis in 1997, Antoine worked at Knight Ridder and Bell & Howell during the launch of dialog.com and Proquest Direct where he handled accounting firms Ernst & Young, KPMG and consulting firms McKinsey, Boston Consulting and others.
