The Great Escape 2004

Thailand is a combination of ancient temples and pagodas with a modern international capital of Bangkok. It has outstanding hotels and restaurants that feature delicious cuisine. However, this quality aspect of the city is offset by traffic congestion. It is frequently if not always quicker to walk, take a boat or tuk-tuk (three-wheeled taxis) than elect to travel within the city by bus or taxi. An afternoon at the Grand Palace complex is a "must see".
